1. Definitions
In these terms, "Advertiser", "you", and "your" refer to the legal entity that owns the Employer Ads account. "Amberrole", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Amberrole and its affiliates.
"Ad", "campaign", and "sponsored question" refer to any content you publish through the Employer Ads platform. "Audience" refers to the targeting criteria you select. "Impression" means a single rendering of your ad to a candidate; "response" means a candidate-initiated interaction.
2. Account and authority
You represent that you have the legal authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you are creating an account, and that all information provided in the billing risk-assessment questionnaire is accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Ad content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Amberrole a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and reproduce your ad content solely for the purpose of operating the Employer Ads platform.
You represent that your ad content (a) does not infringe any third-party right, (b) is accurate and not misleading, (c) complies with all applicable laws including employment and consumer-protection law, and (d) complies with our Advertiser Acceptable Use Policy and Ad Content Policy.
4. Delivery and auction
Amberrole delivers ads on a best-effort basis through a real-time auction. Ad rank is determined by a combination of your bid, historical engagement (CTR), pacing relative to schedule, and a small boost for new campaigns. Amberrole makes no guarantee of impression volume, response count, or audience composition beyond what the auction produces.
A single candidate will see no more than three distinct sponsored questions on the platform across the lifetime of their account. Frequency caps, dedup rules, and account-freeze enforcement may further restrict delivery.
5. Pricing and payment
Pricing is detailed on the Billing page within your Employer Ads account. The standard CPM (cost per thousand impressions) is $10. CPC (cost per response click) is dynamic, based on the audience tier; see the Pricing module for the current ladder.
You will be placed on either Net 7 or daily auto-debit payment terms based on the risk-assessment questionnaire. Every account is invoiced at a $500 cumulative-spend threshold for its first invoice, payable within two days. Subsequent invoices are issued per your payment-terms cadence and are due per the schedule on each invoice.
Partial payments are accepted but do not lift an account freeze; the outstanding balance must reach zero for delivery to resume.
6. Compliance and prohibited content
Amberrole is a hiring platform. Sponsored questions cannot be used to screen, exclude, or otherwise affect application outcomes for candidates. You may not use audience targeting to discriminate against any group on a protected basis (including but not limited to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status).
See our Advertiser Acceptable Use Policy and Ad Content Policy for the full list of prohibited content and conduct. Violations may result in campaign removal, account suspension, or termination.
7. Data and privacy
Your handling of any candidate personal data made available through opt-in follow-up is governed by our Advertiser Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which is incorporated by reference into these terms.
You may not use candidate data for any purpose other than the recruiting-related communication for which the candidate opted in.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notification at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use of the Employer Ads platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Termination
You may close your Employer Ads account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, applicable law, or our acceptable use policy, or if any invoice remains unpaid past a reasonable cure period.
On termination, your outstanding balance becomes immediately due. We will retain transactional records for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amberrole is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Employer Ads platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
