A sign-in lasts 60 days (30 days when your account was created at a Priority Review checkout), then you sign in again. Signing out ends it straight away, and a password reset signs you out everywhere.
If you sign in from a public or shared computer, click Sign Out before walking away, and don't tick "Remember this device" when you enter your code there.
